DEI

 Diversity, Equity, Belonging, and Inclusion

Has your organization been working towards DEI for months or years, but still seem to have the same diversity percentages on staff?

Do you continue to have a higher-than-average turnover rate among BIPOC staff?

Are the programs and resources intended for marginalized communities rarely accessed?

SBDE Consulting specializes in guiding white-led corporations, nonprofits, government agencies, and churches through transformative journeys towards anti-racist, equitable, and inclusive practices. We recognize the pressing need for systemic change within these organizations to reduce unconscious biases and create environments where all individuals thrive regardless of race, ethnicity, or background. Client Reviews

"I had the pleasure of working with Amanda Colegrove as she walked me through a step by step process to learn more about myself, reflect on areas for growth, and create a plan to continue to grow and challenge myself to be more aware of my biases, my position of power and, thus, a better leader. She has a demeanor that is nonjudgemental, supportive, and encouraging. She encouraged thoughtful introspection with open questions and led me to design goals and objectives to systematically review my strengths and challenges. She is organized, thoughtful, realistic, and inspiring. I highly recommend her services." - Catherine, Minnesota Department of Health

"Working with Amanda on the IDI was a powerful, illuminating experience for me. Amanda is extremely knowledgeable about the work, and pairs that knowledge with empathy, curiosity, honesty, and kindness. Her approach to individual coaching felt structured enough for me to identify tangible action items, while being flexible enough for me to stretch my goals to suit my unique circumstances. I walked away with new insights about myself as well as goals that felt fresh as well as attainable. I often think about our last coaching session, and it helps me to stay grounded in my intentions to do my work and live my life in alignment with my values, rather than taking the easy path. I would recommend Amanda to anyone who is considering connecting with a coach for their IDI experience." - Julia MN Department of Health
